The Retail Technology Operations acts as a bridge between the Application and System delivery teams and the Technology Operations and Helpdesk teams. We provide insight into user experience issues, allowing us to build better systems. We also conserve engineering capacity by taking on operational tasks for engineering teams.

**A day in the life**:
The Program Manager leads technology hardware delivery projects for our stores both directly and in partnership with retail engineering teams. The job will entail partnering closely the New Store Openings and Retail Hardware Technology Programs to ensure that best practices for asset and configuration management as well as how we roll out new hardware rollouts are followed. In collaboration with cross functional partners, you’ll ensure that our technology hardware is highly available, well monitored with attached to robust break/fix programs that ensures minimum downtime. Alongside technology and financial leaders, you’ll work to develop well thought out life cycle management of store hardware.
- Manage overall delivery, status, health of hardware deployment projects for retail locations.
- Lead in the definition and upkeep of a multi-year investment strategy for Retail Hardware.
- Support engineering teams to ensure that technology projects requiring hardware innovation are scoped appropriately.
- Prioritize all in-flight and upcoming Initiatives with product/business partners.
- Partner with Support and Operations teams to elevate asset and configuration management for Retail hardware.
- Understand and coordinate definition of program scope and manage, socialize and communicate changes to scope during program.
- Provide guidance and coaching to project managers.
- Create and maintain baseline spend/rolling forecast for retail hardware technology investment.
- Manage Program financials (actuals & forecast)
- Owns program-related resource management and 3rd party vendor management. Will be the point of contact for Procurement, Security, Legal, Stakeholder Management (Sponsor, Leadership, Architects).
- Ensures all project/program tasks are clearly understood, assigned, and tracked.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years in technology or related field w/ 5+ yrs exp in project management, 1-2 yrs in program management scrum/safe or other agile practice certification required if leading a scrum team.
- Strong leadership skills, including influencing and gaining consensus without direct authority.
- Experience in managing waterfall, hybrid & agile delivery teams.
- Passion for problem-solving with an ability to excel in an ambiguous environment.

**Nice to haves**:

- Experience supporting Support and Operations teams.
- Experience with Hardware delivery in Retail environments
