**The Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced **Commercial Mortgage Broker - Team Lead** to spearhead the growth of our commercial division. This is a leadership role for someone with a strong background in commercial mortgage acquisition, underwriting, lender placement, and deal funding.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, mentor, and build a team of commercial mortgage agents.
- Source, underwrite, and structure commercial mortgage deals across asset classes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial lenders and investors.
- Oversee and guide deals from intake through to funding.
- Collaborate with executive management on strategic growth and team development.
- Represent RateShop’s brand in commercial real estate and lending circles.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial mortgage origination and underwriting.
- Proven track record of funded commercial transactions.
- Strong lender relationships and deal structuring skills.
- Leadership mindset and desire to build and mentor a team.
- Valid FSRA mortgage agent/broker license in Ontario.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.

Pay: $150,000.00-$300,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Mortgage brokering: 1 year (preferred)
- Mortgage underwriting: 1 year (preferred)
- Land, infill, construction, development financing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- FSRA Agent/Broker License (required)
