Griffith & Associates is a financial planning firm in Calgary, Alberta. Over the last 17 years, they have grown to be one of Calgary's top firms, specializing in in-depth financial, tax and estate planning. Their dynamic team excels in building strategies for executives and business owners. They currently service over 2000 households and manage over $300m in assets.
We are currently on the search for a Business Development Manager that excels in making connections. No financial experience is necessary. In this role, you will contribute to growing the business with the objective of increasing production and promoting sales.
**Who we are looking for**:
- A go getter to develop & uncover new business opportunities via proactive sales initiatives with new & existing leads.
- Someone with superior interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build key relationships.
- An entrepreneurial problem solver.
- A great teammate who sees the value in working together to achieve common goals and pivotal initiatives.
- A referral machine.
- Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, time/people management skills.
- Strong business sense, problem solving skills and analytical capabilities.
- Someone with the capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- An ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Confidence to communicate directly with internal partners, clients, and external professionals (accountants, etc.).
- Someone to develop an understanding of Advisor’s business to identify opportunities.
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- Access to a large network of high net worth prospects.
- Demonstrated sales experience.
- Effective communication skills including verbal, in-person, written, and social platforms.
- Have a career focus, motivated by the growth of the firm, with potential for development.
