Business Development Manager

**Responsibilities**:
Accountable directly to the VP of Business Development and working as part of a dynamic Business Development team,the responsibilities of a Senior Business Development Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Direct interface with clients and development of client relationships.
- Identify and develop business opportunities for Dynamysk’s Engineering and Field Services primarily In Western Canada, with future geographic expansion opportunities.
- Develop client pursuit and maintenance strategies.
- Develop and execute project/opportunity pursuit strategies.
- Assist with the development of proposals and with overall proposal strategy development.
- Maintain and keep updated, client contact information and opportunity pursuits in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Participate in regular sales meetings with business managers and other sales staff.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to develop and execute business plans, identify target markets, customers and competitive offerings.
- Assist in promotional trade shows and other customer focused marketing events.
- Provide input into the creation and management of the corporate sales plan and strategies.
- Provide input into the development of effective sales material to aid in the pursuit of sales opportunities, such as presentations, qualifications documents and proposals.
- Conduct sales results analysis to develop improvement plans.
- Promote and enhance corporate image.
Your primary responsibility will be to generate profitable sales and revenue for the various business units within Dynamysk and help each business unit manager achieve their annual business targets.
You will be required to travel to interface with clients as well as interact with our business unit managers to understand market opportunities and clients' requirements. It is expected that you will champion a number of existing clients but also take initiative and work independently to attract and grow new clients for Dynamysk.
Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of the technologies and services delivered by Dynamysk will be required to achieve success.
Technical Qualifications
- A degree, diploma or trade certificate related to Dynamysk's business focus.
- A minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a solid understanding of instrumentation and electrical design, industrial automation, and field construction and commissioning services is desired.
