**Scope of the Position**

The ACM Lead Hand plays a crucial role in supporting the ACM department Supervisor by facilitating communication, managing work assignments, and ensuring quality inspections are conducted efficiently.

**Key Objectives and Accountabilities**
- Model and encourage Core Values in all that you do
- Train team members on equipment and processes ensuring safety requirements are met.
- Provide technical and process support to ensure the quality of the product is attained and meets client expectations.
- Assist and/or arrange and schedule daily/weekly activity for the team members according to the production schedule ensuring delivery targets are met.

**Essential Functions**
- Demonstrate support for growth and change by providing leadership through coaching, mentoring and training opportunities (T.O’s).
- Assist with scheduling and build all signage efficiently to Pride quality standards by thorough job review, set up, material selection and workflow. Never allow a sub-standard product to leave the shop.
- Focus on effective shift set up and production flow to maximize efficiency and minimize material handling.
- Liaison with other departments such as Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing and Receiving.
- Provide technical and process support to all departments to ensure continuous improvement in both quality and delivery.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members fostering a positive work environment.
- Act as first contact for the team on technical concerns. Troubleshooting as necessary.
- Ensure that any issues with hand tools or machinery are maintained or repaired as required.
- Ensures a clean and safe work environment at all times. Demonstrate respect for all plant, health and safety standards and ensure personnel work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Help to review the work order and assigned work with the individuals in the group to resolve or clarify any questions that may arise.
- Under direction from the Area Manager coordinate the communication of ECN (engineering change notices) and ensure operators have current information.
- Oversee the work area to ensure that everyone has been assigned a task and working on their assigned duties.
- Report the raw material usage to be reported in the job traveler.
- Ensure all direct reports review work orders and perform quality checks to ensure product matches the drawings before moving to another department.
- Review the quality of the final parts accordingly including completion of any checklists and photos where applicable.
- Assist with training of new and existing employees.
- Other duties as required.

**Skills, Knowledge, Education & Experience**
- High School Diploma preferred.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar environment.
- Must be able to read and write English, must have good math skills.
- Ability to demonstrate effective listening and verbal skills.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Good work ethic.
- Team-oriented with an ability to work with others in a multi-cultural environment.
- Experience in ACM panel building, or similar preferred.
- Demonstrated Leadership capabilities.

**Hours of Work**

Monday to Friday 6.45 am to 4.00 pm

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 43.75 per week
