- Maintaining a clean and organized facility is essential
- Assist Supervisor by supporting other technicians, ensuring work is completed accurately and productively
- Supporting limited supervisory responsibilities when required
- Perform inspections, diagnostics and repairs on trucks and trailers
- Complete routine maintenance and preventative service on engines, brakes, suspensions, electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulations, and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, services, and repairs
- Assist in identifying required parts and supplies for repair
- Collaborate with team members and supervisor to prioritize units
- Reporting nonconforming situations
- Other duties as assigned by the shop supervisor

- Minimum High School Diploma and Red Seal Certification 310T
- Familiar with Freightliner diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Familiar with Trailer and Truck ABS diagnostics and repair
- Experience with Thermo King diagnostics and repairs would be an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding job functions
- Committed to working safely in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working positively with others toward common goals
- Knowledge of various software such as Outlook and Excel would be an asset
