The **Digital Marketing Specialist** is responsible for creating marketing campaign content like graphics, blog posts or social media posts, and carrying out marketing campaigns. This includes researching market trends and compiling reports, and assisting in executing associated projects for Apogee.

**Essential job functions**:

- Create a digital marketing plan to provide insight, objectives and measurable milestones for achieving success.
- Liaise with creative resources (internally and externally) to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional material, and advertising copies.
- Discover effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay product messages to customers and prospects.
- Handle outside vendor engagements and programs specific to increasing awareness and sales.
- Work with external marketing resources to maximize success (HubSpot, ZoomInfo, consultants, Google, ConnectWise, etc.)

**Responsibilities**:

- Social media messaging (blogs, LinkedIn, website, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram)
- Analyze website and campaign click-to-purchase conversion rates and the effectiveness of promotions to determine what drives sales.
- Investigate the performance of marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics and reports.
- Create innovative marketing campaigns depending on the company sales and territory goals
- Establish and maintain client interviews, testimonials and case studies (blogs, videos)
- Help in outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in certain areas such as events planning, advertising, optimization, and content development.
- Work with community contacts to assure Apogee is doing its part to be a good citizen in the community.
- Promote internally and externally Apogee messaging related to success and change (new hires, new clients, business changes, fun engagements, social causes, etc.)
- Assist with the Leadership Workshops program delivery

**Non-Essential/Other Job Functions**:

- Personal Development - Continuously develop knowledge and expertise in marketing strategies in general and social media selling approaches.
- Employee development - As appropriate, provide insight and coaching to others - especially marketing staff - on marketing concepts and techniques.
- Sales Assistance - Work with Sales department on collateral development, list development, outbound campaigns and other functions to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Human Resources Engagement - Work with the CEO on HR engagements and opportunity development. Engage with staff to educate them on new business developments. Foster a positive culture and help in the nomination for staff and corporate awards.

**Job Requirements**:

- Must be focused on delivering the ‘Ultimate Client Experience’ at every touch.
- Must have a demonstrated track record of building pipeline with self-directed outbound activities.
- Must have a demonstrated track record of establishing and cultivating Center of Influence relationships that result in mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Must be willing to go higher within vendor environments to build executive and decision-maker relationships.
- Must be able to schedule, conduct and lead quarterly Marketing business reviews and monthly planning sessions.
- Must have excellent written communication and C-Level presentation skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft O365, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM Platforms like HubSpot, ZoomInfo, ConnectWise (sell, manage), etc.

**Experience**:

- 2+ years in a “Business Development” role
- 1 year marketing experience in a technology-related area
- Excellent interpersonal skills for representing organizations in public, during media events and product launches, product demonstrations and while participating at trade shows.
- Project coordination experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a Business field preferred
