This position is a global multi-site function and is responsible for supporting the AEM Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance to ISO 9001 standards and AEM policies and procedures. They provide quality support to projects from the planning phase to project completion.

This position reports directly to the Director, Quality Management.

**Responsibilities**:
Quality Management System
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, best practices, and other optimizations for improved efficiency across AEM
- Identify and manage risk within the organization
- Control the movement of changes along their lifecycle
- Play a key role in facilitating communication between departments for review/approval of business, operational and engineering changes
- Monitor and track change packages such as change requests, change orders, and deviation requests to ensure changes are completed on time and appropriate actions are taken when target due dates are not achieved
- Work with Engineering and assist in the creation of new MOM’s and BOM’s that allow all Manufacturing and Financial processes to flow smoothly
- Support Internal Quality Audit Program such as driving the audit schedule, coordinating internal auditors, conducting internal audits, and maintaining records
- Monitor and Maintain Nonconformance and Corrective Action systems
- Support and / or conduct Root Cause Investigations
- Create custom reports enabling AEM Leadership to make informed decisions
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance against set goals
- Create / Edit Quality Standard Operating Policies and Procedures as needed
- Train employees on AEM QMS as needed

Customer Satisfaction
- Act as customer liaison and advocate
- Respond to customer quality problems and coordinate timely resolution
- Develop customer quality improvement plans and metrics

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years’ experience working with quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Quality improvement principles and ISO standards administration and compliance
- Knowledge and experience with change control processes
- Problem solving skills - ability to assess quality issues and develop functional solutions.
- Have a critical and objective eye to identify opportunities for improvement of departmental processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience with process mapping and conducting gap analysis for business and process improvement.
- Possess strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems.
- Familiarity with ERP or MRP software (NetSuite preferred)
- Excellent functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Must have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally

**Preferred Experience**:

- Experience using JIRA Software tools
- Familiarity with CAD software packages such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks

**Additional Information**:

- This is a hybrid opportunity that will be performed remotely and from our office in Victoria, British Columbia.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.
