Compliance/project Coordinator

**Policy Compliance**:
Assis implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Research & monitor regulatory requirements to update internal policies and procedures accordingly as they relate to HR, Safety, and internal procedures.

Assist with training and documentation of employee policies and procedures.

Act as the main point of contact for external audits and regulatory inspections.

**Project Coordination**:
Assist in research, documentation, and implementation of various projects as determined by management to achieve company objectives. These will span all departments included but not limited to HR, Operations, Logistics, Company internal policy management, Accounting/Finance.

Assist to define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key employees, vendors, and government agencies.

Coordinate project teams, assign tasks, and provide guidance to ensure project milestones are met.

Monitor and document project progress, identify potential issues or roadblocks, and provide appropriate solutions to management.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Compliance) or equivalent experience.

Experience and knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, such as health and safety regulations, human resource laws, environmental regulations, and industry-specific compliance requirements.

Excellent multi-tasking, analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Proficient in using project management tools and software.

Certifications in compliance management (e.g., Certified Compliance Professional) and project management (e.g., PMP) are an asset.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-24 months

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
