Inside Sales Manager

Reporting to the Vice President - Sales & Marketing, the Inside Sales Manager is responsible for supporting our sales representatives, clients and sales management team in all day-to-day sales activities. The Inside Sales Manager will also be responsible for reviewing bid requests in conjunction with the Manager, Proposals as well as, working with supply chain partners to obtain pricing in a timely fashion. Assisting in the strategic analysis of all quotations and proposals, working with our clients and sales representatives on early project development, and working with project management team on maintaining client relationships will be part of your daily role. Attending model room installs, trade shows and providing support for some outside sales activities will also be involved.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Contributes to consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through working directly with Sales Representatives, Clients, and internal team
- Develops relationships amongst industry influencers
- Works within a team environment to develop implement and execute a strategic plan to increase the companies’ revenue
- Identifies opportunities for new business development and assists in strategic execution around those opportunities
- Participates in trade shows as required
- Participates in model room reviews/installs as required
- Assists and participates in the business planning cycle to develop the sales and marketing plan
- Provides feedback with respect to competitive activity
- Assists in maintaining records in CRM system relative to opportunity tracking
- Performs regular follow up on issued proposals and open opportunities
- Provides regular updates to our representatives on outstanding quotes, orders, win/loss and participates in monthly rep activity reviews including issuing of reports
- Participates in project hand offs to ensure smooth transition to PM team when orders received
- Act as a liaison for any issues with clients on a project-by-project basis
- Works with clients and sales representatives on early project development
**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, both with clients and internal staff
- Ability to take initiative, balance multiple tasks and think strategically
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (incl. Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required
- Ability to collaborate across multiple internal departments
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Completion of post-secondary degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a related industry (hospitality product sales) role or equivalent
