We are actively seeking next level players and are currently hiring for an **Inside Sales Representative**. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**: - Work with all departments to ensure we are meeting customer expectations and providing value to our customers - Ensure smooth sales, order and return process by effective communication internally and with customers - Quotation follow up, understanding our offering vs competitors to obtain purchase order - Travel to meet with customers to understand their business and their aluminum requirements - Daily communication with customers to provide technical information, answer and resolve issues - Track the process for large new accounts or new product lines for existing accounts. - Assisting with quotations, understanding pricing, drafting process and project deadlines. - Maintain updated knowledge of all technical terms, company product, services and capabilities. - Calculate costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. - Facilitate project meetings and ensure timely completion of projects and communicate deadlines - Manage customer projects forecasting, new products and customer requirements, daily, monthly and yearly. - Provide project updates on different product stages. - Resolve any discrepancies. - Other duties, as assigned. **Knowledge/Experience and Skills**: - 5+ years of inside sales experience in a manufacturing environment - Strong ability to identify and qualify sales opportunities with existing and new customers - Exceptional customer service with a professional approach. - The ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills. - Excellent Interpersonal skills are a must as this position acts as a bridge for smooth communication between the internal and external stakeholders. - Effective presentation, report writing skills and the ability to work individually as well as within a team environment. - Project management experience is preferred. - Strong commitment to professional development, knowledge acquisition and training. - Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise. - Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure. **Preferred attributes**: - Team player - Possess a positive "can do" attitude. - Reliability - Multi-tasking **What we offer**: - Extended health benefits - Dental coverage - Vision coverage - Long-term disability - Life Insurance - RRSP matching. - Employee Appreciation Events Apex Aluminum Extrusions is a place for you to feel challenged, professional, and creative, while offering you the ability to build relationships, and excel in your career.
