**General Description**:
The ministry relations department is responsible to facilitate, develop, and maintain relationships with friends of Insight for Living Canada for a mutually-satisfying return on investment in order to advance the ministry and its mission. The ministry relations representative is the first point of contact for constituents with various needs and is responsible for constituent care, customer service, and event facilitation.

**Qualifications**
- Able to connect with people of all ages and personalities, yet maintain appropriate boundaries
- Some Bible College or discipleship program an asset
- Comfortable praying over the phone with callers
- Able to work well in both a team environment and independently
- Adaptable, gracious, mature, conscientious, detail oriented, and accountable
- Owns problems, creates solutions, and pursues excellence
- Reasonable aptitude for computers and learning new technology
- Experience with donor software or CRM is an asset

**Core Job Functions**

**Constituent Focus (50%)**
- Performing outbound calling campaigns
- Initiating connections with constituents to build ministry relationships
- Other duties as assigned

**Event/Meeting Focus (35%)**
- Facilitating and hosting events, both virtual (such as webinars) and in-person (such as donor dinners)
- Administrating meetings (such as board and management meetings), which includes distributing agendas, taking minutes, noting action items, and communicating with stakeholders (such as board members)
- Participating in organization and execution of external events (some may require travel) and office travel
- Facilitating special staff events (such as lunches, retreats, and celebrations)
- Facilitating personnel onboarding and offboarding tasks
- Updating and maintain staff overview calendar

**Operational/Administrative (10%)**
- Creating new constituent accounts and making account changes and corrections
- Participating in quality control (such as batch checking)
- Providing backup coverage for other functions

**Professional Development (5%)**
- Committing to the challenges of growth and development according to a professional development plan
- Pursuing knowledge and/or experience with a positive attitude
- Enabling colleagues to become better in their pursuits

**Accountability**: This position is accountable to the ministry relations director.

It is crucial to understand and support the mission and core values of IFLC.
