- The Asset Management Lead delivers all aspects, or in some cases specific phases, of the City-wide Asset Management Program, to all asset managing Business Units across the organization to ensure compliance with Asset Management Policy, legislative requirements, and best practices. Primary duties include:

- Lead the development, implementation, and sustainment of City-wide asset management practices, tools, processes, and frameworks in support of service delivery to Calgarians.
- Monitor compliance with The City's Asset Management Policy.
- Provide asset management practice consultation, advice, coaching, and mentoring to asset managing Business Units
- Lead City-wide asset management reporting efforts to support decision-making, including analysis of information to identify and act on key risks and trends.
- Coordinate Asset Management Maturity Assessments and competency reviews of asset managing Business Units.
- Facilitate development of implementation plans for Business Units across the organization to improve asset management practices.
- Design and implement business processes and organizational change management plans to support continuous improvement of asset management practices across The City.
- Conduct procurement and management of consultants engaged to implement and support asset management practices including on behalf of asset managing Business Units.
- Develop reports and presentations for a broad range of interested parties and groups including senior management and Council members.
- Support implementation and sustainment of asset management information systems.
- Monitor asset management and technology research, trends, and developments to be able to continuously improve The City of Calgary's asset management practices.

**Qualifications**
- A degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Public Administration or a related discipline with at least 8 years of related experience.
- Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.
- Experience in performing and sharing data analysis using Power BI is essential.
- Previous experience working with asset management information systems is preferred.

- Compensation: Level E $83,059 - 125,413 per annum
- Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week earning 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
