**The Opportunity**

We’re seeking a **Business Development & Communications Coordinator** to join our growing team. This role combines relationship-building, marketing communications, and strategic coordination to support our business development initiatives and enhance our brand presence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Lead Management**: Track, manage, and follow up on incoming client leads; support partners and managers in identifying business opportunities.
- **Relationship Nurturing**: Build and maintain strong connections with centers of influence (COIs), including community organizations, referral partners, and industry stakeholders.
- **Proposal Development**: Write and coordinate proposals, presentations, and responses to RFPs, ensuring high-quality, timely submissions.
- **Communications**: Draft and manage internal and external communications including newsletters, announcements, website content, and social media posts.
- **Research & Insight**: Research thought leadership topics and industry trends across various sectors to support content creation and strategic positioning.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with partners, managers, and the marketing/administrative team to align messaging and client engagement efforts.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in **Marketing, Communications, or Business** (or related field).
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in a **marketing, business development, or communications** role — experience in professional services (accounting, legal, consulting, etc.) is an asset.
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills with attention to tone and detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM tools, Canva, or WordPress is an asset.
- A proactive, relationship-oriented approach and a genuine interest in learning about our clients and their industries.
