**Key Responsibilities**:

- To provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers
- Identify training needs by evaluating Operations employees strengths and weaknesses
- Develop and maintain in-house training program for Operations employees in conjunction with the Quality Import Specialist and/or Operations Supervisor
- Prepare teaching plans and material and update annually as required for in-house training establishing Operational employees on related regulatory functions
- Training new staff in conjunction with Supervisors and monitor employee errors
- Ensure front desk receptionist accurately follows check in process
- Conducting bi-weekly team meetings, monitor work volumes against team KPI’s
- Completing annual and semi-annual employee performance reviews

- Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) Designation (must maintain yearly status)
- 3 - 5 years experience in an Customs Broker operations department
- Sound decision making and organizational skills
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-Motivated with excellent problem solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and in-house software
