**Office Manager**

Based out of Vancouver, BC, Perry + Associates is a versatile design firm offering a wide variety of services to local and international clients in landscape architecture and site planning. More information can be found on our website at: perryandassociates.ca.

We are looking for a fun, creative, self-motivated, professional to add to our team. Someone who can bring everyone together in a structured, well organized, effective manner while inspiring exceptional client experiences.

As our administrator and bookkeeper, the office manager will work closely with the partners, associates, and staff to ensure the smooth flow of communication, adherence to procedural requirements, project and corporate accounting and financials, as well as manage the office and presentation of the company.

**Responsibilities**:
**Finances and Reporting**:

- Bookkeeping including accounts payables, accounts receivables (invoicing), monthly payroll, bank deposits, reconciliation, and financial statements.
- Maintain the billing database.
- Liaise with the accountants to process fiscal year-end procedures.

**Office Management**:

- Oversee office organization including administering front desk, office supplies, and liaising with vendors as required.
- Liaise with our technical support / IT technician as needed.
- Manage office/building administration.
- Assist with onboarding new team members in collaboration with partners.
- Coordinate and organize social office events in collaboration with partners and staff.
- Support with ad hoc admin tasks as needed.

**Marketing and Business Promotion**:

- Preparation of proposals and letters, in collaboration with partners and senior staff.
- Manage confidential material.
- Maintain website and Instagram page in collaboration with staff with up-to-date posts and promotional images.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in an office administrator role would be an asset.
- Experience in basic accounting or bookkeeping principles would be an asset.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign and Accountedge (accounting software) would be an asset.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional phone manner (fluent and strong in English).
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills with flexibility to adapt to the demands of a deadline-driven work environment.

**Education**:

- Post-Secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration/Accounting or a related field.

**Salary and Compensation**:

- Salary range $25 -$30 an hour, based on experience.
- Compensation for overtime (paid at hourly rate or used as flexible time)
- Extended benefits package including extended health, dental, vision, vacation time, sick time, and education allowance

**Terms**:

- 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday 9 am-5:30 pm)
- Paid overtime, Friday socials, and office lunches

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
