**Job Overview**
We are seeking a **Catering Sales and Event Coordinator** to join our team. This is a **temporary position to cover a maternity leave**, offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and execute catering events (meetings, weddings, etc.)
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs
- Negotiate vendor contracts for cost-effective services
- Manage event budgets and expenses
- Work with the culinary team to create customized menus
- Oversee event setup and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Supervise staff to ensure smooth operations
- Address client and guest concerns professionally
- Conduct post-event evaluations for improvement
- Office administrative tasks.

**Skills**:

- Excellent time management and organizational skills as well as multi-tasking
- Strong communication and guest service abilities
- Knowledge of hospitality trends and budgeting principles

**Qualifications**:

- Previous catering team experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management is a plus

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
