**Position Title: Junior Business System Analyst**

**Team and Location: IT - Calgary, AB or Montréal, QC**

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Incident Management, diagnose root cause of issues and complete resolutions in production systems.
- Acts as IT liaison for internal and external contacts related to assigned systems.
- Interacts and coordinates with the business to understand and document business requirements.
- Actively involved in and contributes throughout the SDLC process and/or Change Approval Board Process.
- Responsible for analysis, translation, and simplification of business requirements to technical and functional requirements.
- Assists business with developing business cases for system changes.
- Provides Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge to the prioritizing process for business requests.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Post-secondary education in Computer Science would be an asset however relevant experience or related education would also be considered.
- Knowledge of change management methodology.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Business Analyst Certification would be an asset.
- Analytical problem solving.
- Technical writing skills.
- Effective communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
