Inventory & Scheduling Coordinator for Maintenance

The Inventory & Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for maintenance ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing of supplies/parts. In addition, the person will schedule contractors, monthly maintenance, and maintenance of equipment.
Job
**Responsibilities**:
- Place orders and negotiate prices with vendors for parts and supplies
- Receive, unpack incoming materials and store in appropriate locations with the maintenance shop.
- Report damaged, worn out, or missing equipment to Maintenance Manager.
- Process in-house Parts Request Forms, Work orders, send bills of lading and packing slips to accounts payable.
- Maintain purchasing data, develop database of part usage in order to develop min and max inventory, and provide updates for parts and services as required to Maintenance Manager.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain up-to-date accurate data
- Inspect tools and equipment for defects and wear
- Work within the health and safety policies.
- Ability to communicate with various departments within a team environment
**Qualifications**:
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, a maintenance department, and working with tools and industrial supplies preferred
- Excellent organizational and housekeeping skills
- Proficient use of computer based maintenance programs and MicroSoft Office.
