**Job Description: Maintenance Supervisor (Afternoon Shift)**

**Location**: Near Brampton, ON

**Shift**: Afternoon Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead the maintenance team during the afternoon shift.
- Plan and schedule preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment.
- Coordinate repairs and projects with external vendors as needed.
- Manage and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance and ensuring team productivity.
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and food safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment readiness and performance.
- Effectively manage a unionized workforce, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Licensed **Millwright (433A)** or **Electrician (309A/442A)** (preferred).
- Minimum **4 years of supervisory experience** in a maintenance role within manufacturing, preferably food production.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in a **unionized environment** is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP) is an asset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $85,000.00-$104,000.00 per year
