**Overview**

**Duties**
- coordinating the arrival of patients with front reception
- bringing arrived patients to an exam room at their allocated appointment time
- responsible for recording vitals and physical measurements depending on appointment type (blood pressure, height, weight, sending / dipping urine samples and labeling swabs to be sent to the lab)
- ensuring proper tools and equipment are available when needed such as setting up the room for physicals and biopsy / injections.
- ordering supplies as needed
- calling in / out - speaking to patients on the phone regarding administrative tasks
- organizing documents, labs and reports physically and electronically
- high standards for privacy policies and reporting

**Skills**
- Must possess ability to deal pleasantly and effectively with a wide range of people of different ages and cultures, in potentially volatile and emotionally charged situations.
- Ability to maintain positive professional boundaries without imposing personal judgments and expectations on families and patients.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also managing individual responsibilities effectively.
- Familiarity with general office procedures and clerical tasks.
- A knowledge of Accuro EMR would be preferred but not necessary.
