CM2 supports Marketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) activities at General Motors of Canada. The GM team of CM2 is based at GM’s Canadian headquarters in Oshawa.

**Overview of Position**:
As the Retail Communications & Incentives Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating activities to publish and communicate marketing incentive information to GM’s retail network. You will interface with Marketing, Finance, Dealer Organization, Legal and Executive stakeholders to support the timely delivery of marketing programs. This is a full-time position within the marketing team at GM’s Canadian headquarters in Oshawa.
You have a high attention-to-detail and are skilled at efficiently facilitating the execution of marketing projects. You are a proactive individual who can easily liaise and create relationships with stakeholders to complete tasks. You have strong communication skills and clearly understand marketing processes. You ideally have experience with marketing operations, and the coordination of marketing incentive programs in the automotive and/or retail field.
**Key Activities**:
- Attend meetings and capture meeting minutes to understand the content that is required for marketing programs.
- Ability to comprehend marketing incentive program to write clear communications to various stakeholders (Dealers, GM Field Staff, GM Corporate Marketing) announcing the details of new marketing incentive programs.
- Assist in creation of Leadership and Dealer facing communications and to all internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements for authorizations and documentation from stakeholder departments.
- Act as a liaison between agencies and GM Canada to ensure retail asset timelines are met.
- Prepare and distribute retail workback schedules to marketing teams and agencies.
- Work with advertising agencies to produce and execute dealership graphics program and colour and trim packages.
- Support Retail Planning and Communications manager on monthly retail programs.
- Support the Retail Incentive Specialist for system support activities (e.g. data input, liaising with GM US teams on system & process updates/issues).
- Work with the Translation Manager to ensure the quality and timeliness of French translations.
- Maintain and audit marketing incentive information on GM sites in English and French.
- Schedule retail planning meetings with the leadership and marketing teams.
- Available and flexible during peak periods (after hours) to support month end tasks as well as at the beginning of the month to ensure all marketing program communications are launched flawlessly.
- Analyze competitive retail environment and provide key insights.
**Required Skills and Experience**
- Solid understanding of Marketing Programs in the Automotive and/or Retail field
- Can execute in a fast-paced environment (High Capacity, Quality Output, Quick Pace)

**Preferred Skills and Experience**
- 2+ years of marketing or finance operations or project management experience
- Previous Advertising / Marketing / Communications experience considered an asset
- Bilingual (English/French) language skills are not required but are considered an asset
**Education and Training**
- Post-secondary diploma/degree required; University or College degree in business, marketing, or communications preferred.
**Other Details**
This is a hybrid role; 3 days per week in the office.
