Ryu is a high end Japanese restaurant looking to hire a full-time **Manager** to join our already established team of hard-working and experienced professionals.

**BASE SALARY**: $45,000-50,000 + tips (making approx 85-90K a year)
**POSITION**: Floor Manager
**SCHEDULE**: Tuesday - Saturday (40h+)

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance to guest service
- Ensure positive guest service in all areas
- Investigate and respond to complaints; turning dissatisfied clients into return guests
- Manage staff and maintain a high level of employee morale
- Recruit, train, motivate Front of House staff
- Show leadership in creating a supportive and encouraging work culture
- Oversee restaurant opening and closing procedures
- Achieve operational objectives by implementing action plans concerning productivity, quality and standards of service
- Complete daily briefs and shift end reports

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Min 3 years of management experience in a high end restaurant
- Knowledgeable and passionate about food, wines, spirits and alcoholic beverages
- Ability to demonstrate extreme organization in a fast paced environment
- MUST BE a team player
- Must be completely bilingual (FR & EN)
