Part-time Administrative Assistant

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Association
- Undertake event planning tasks such as venue selection, contracts, ticketing and marketing
- Maintain organized SharePoint and OneDrive filing systems
- Assist with membership renewals and record-keeping
- Utilize Microsoft Office for document creation, spreadsheets, and records management
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to enhance workflow and improve office processes
**Skills**
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Proficient in EventBrite and MailChimp marketing tools
- Experience in preparing Board meeting documentation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to work independently
- Familiarity with Canva would be an advantage
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online would be an advantage
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
