**Position Overview**

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of inventory while assisting with shipping and receiving duties ensuring efficiency and production objectives are achieved.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Investigate problems and develop solutions for issues with Production and Inventory.
- Resolve material shortages quickly and determine order of priority.
- Maintain and adjust priority of purchase orders against inventory to ensure smooth production flow.
- Compare invoices against purchase orders, shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered and billing accuracy.
- Assist in the development of inventory processes to enhance Production and Purchasing process flow.
- Participate in inventory maintenance and reconciliation as it pertains to production scheduling.
- Set up and manage Bill of materials in Microsoft Dynamics.
- Create workflows for projects using Routes in Microsoft Dynamics.
- Working with inventory and creating picklists to send work to the floor.
- Consume materials to project and report any discrepancies or shortages to PM team.
- Working with accounting and inventory to complete month end tasks.
- Track and receive purchase orders in Microsoft Dynamics.
- Locate and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Create and process Sales orders and Production orders in Microsoft Dynamics.
- Perform and report cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials.
- Make packing slips for outbound shipments.
- Complete record keeping as required by management.
- Move and organize materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Fero Code of Business Conduct.
- May perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

**Qualifications**
- College or University degree/diploma in a related field with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a construction environment.
- Minimum of 1 year in Inventory Management.
- Forklift certification.
- Applied understanding of inventory software (Microsoft Dynamics Preferred).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or with a team.
- Availability to work on weekends if needed.

**Physical Requirements**
- Standing for long periods, with occasional lifting up to 50lbs.
- Able to work in all weather conditions including outdoors.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting, tight spaces and ladder use.
- Working at heights.
- Wearing PPE such as safety boots, safety vest, safety glasses and gloves.
