**Administrative Assistant/Admissions Clerk**

Our Consumer Choice Award winning company is looking for an energetic, super friendly, outgoing, positive, customer oriented individual to fill this new Administrative Assistant/Admissions clerk role.

**Expert level command of the English language, both verbal and written are Mandatory for this position, as the main role is communication with clients in person, and answering calls on our multi-line phone system.**

Our fast
- paced, diverse company has been serving the greater Edmonton area for over 30 years and is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant/Admissions clerk. As the primary face and voice of our fast growing First aid and Safety training companies, this individual will be responsible for operating a multi-line telephone system and registering customers for courses.
- **Expert level** verbal and written command of the English language is **mandatory,** as the role consists of **90%**communication with clientele via telephone and in person.

**JOB FUNCTION / DESCRIPTION**:

- Answer, screen and forward a high amount of calls on a multi-line telephone system;
- Greet and direct students as they arrive for courses;
- Payment processing and collection
- Distribution and replacement of course certificates
- Training room and coffee station supply replenishment
- Mail and courier coordination
- Course paperwork packing;
- Process and submit course paperwork (90 - 140 courses/mo.).
- Administrative support for all team members, other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade 12 graduate or equivalent;
- 1 -2 years’ experience in Office Administration / Reception or equivalent;
- Expertise using a multi-line telephone system;
- Working knowledge of computers in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills, fast, efficient, meticulous, with great attention to detail, a high level of honesty and integrity;
- Ability to think critically, be a self-starter, work independently or as a team;
- **Expert level** verbal and written command of the English language is **mandatory,** as the role consists of **90%**communication with clientele via telephone and in person.

**Remuneration**: $19.23 - $20.67 per hour, benefits at 6 months, Fitness Benefit and more

Pay: $19.26-$20.67 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
