**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to our Manager of Partner Success, the Education Training Specialist will play a key role in supporting district administrators and educators in their implementation and use of Spaces in K-12 classrooms.
The Education Training Specialist will design, develop, and lead training presentations, as well as create educational resources to better support their goals for Student Communicated Learning and Assessment. We will be looking to you to facilitate meaningful, engaging, and hands-on training sessions with our partners both virtually and in person. You excel at teaching professionals and speaking confidently in front of crowds. You have a passion for education technology, experience in teaching and working with provincial K-12 curricula, and an eye for creating impactful pedagogical resources.
As part of the Success team, you will also share customer insights, ideas, and challenges with the other departments to help inform product development and company initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for proactively connecting with accounts that have participated in your training to seek out feedback, uncover if the training was successful in increasing usage and engagement with Spaces, and inform future modifications.

**_ What you will do:_**
- Work closely with the Customer Success team to design and implement training initiatives that improve the customer experience at each stage of the journey
- Work cross-functionally with Support, Product Management, Marketing, and Sales including providing partner insights and creative solutions to partner challenges
- Establish measurable goals and KPIs for training and resource creation
- Track all training, post-training adoption activities, and partner interactions
- Lead interactive customer workshops and training around product updates, new features, and implementation strategies/best practices (most training is virtual until it is deemed safe to meet in person)
- Remain flexible in your training approach in order to adapt and tailor presentations in response to our partners' needs/feedback, leading instructional and product onboarding practices, as well as trending topics in education
- Attend and present at national and provincial educational conferences to promote the use of our products and resources
- Design, develop, and update high-quality educational resources based on provincial curriculum and district partner objectives (e.g., lesson plans, user guides, slide decks, monthly newsletters, blog posts, instructional videos, on-demand webinars, etc.)
- Collaborate with the Partner Success Team (e.g., Account Managers, Onboarding Specialists) to update and promote our train-the-trainer program for educators
- Stay informed on new trends, tools, and curriculum updates in education and education technology
- 2+ years in the education sector (preferably in teaching)
- Comprehensive understanding of the Canadian education system and of stakeholders' needs
- Expertise in creating clear and engaging educational resources and graphics
- Ability to build and foster strong internal and external relationships and establish trust through a customer-focused and consultative approach (empathy is key)
- Ability to explain technical solutions, establish goals, develop opportunities, and provide insight into trends and improve the customer experience
- Proven ability to develop strategies, translate them into initiatives, and track success
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations targeted to a senior audience
- Demonstrated operational excellence in analytical thinking, process development and iteration, problem-solving, communication, and planning
- Ability to collaborate across the organization and with external stakeholders
