**Education Specialist, Professional Learning (Development)**

**Qualifications**
- B.Ed., with teaching experience in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) and/or graduate studies in the field of education considered assets
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the K-12 education sector
- Bilingualism (French and English) strongly desired
- Demonstrated experience delivering in person and/or online/virtual professional learning experiences with educators
- Experience facilitating adult learning sessions, preferably with educators and use of Adult Learning Principles
- First Nations, Métis, or Inuit heritage an asset
- A relevant and current understanding and knowledge of diverse Indigenous cultures across Canada or lived experienced as an Indigenous person with community affiliation
- Well versed with proven track record of implementing equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (EDIA)
- Proven ability to successfully develop and implement work plans and educational programs
- Experience using learning management systems such as, Brightspace by D2L, Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas. For positions within the Development team, experience in designing and developing online courses or modules will be a requirement.
- Willingness to travel (to staff meetings in London, ON, educator conferences, professional learning sessions and/or client/customer meetings as required)

Nous recherchons un éducateur ou une éducatrice d’expérience. En tant que membre clé de l’équipe de la formation professionnelle, vous devrez posséder des aptitudes exceptionnelles en communication orale et écrite, de même qu’une capacité avérée de concevoir des programmes d’apprentissage significatifs à l’intention des élèves ainsi que des enseignants et enseignantes, et être en mesure de vous épanouir au sein d’une équipe extrêmement motivée et dynamique. Le ou la titulaire du poste concevra, mettra au point et (ou) présentera des activités de formation professionnelle à l’intention des enseignants et enseignantes, dans le but de renforcer leur capacité et leur confiance lorsqu’ils utilisent les ressources de Parlons sciences. Il ou elle fournira également un encadrement et une orientation aux expertes et experts en la matière et aux animatrices et animateurs contractuels.

**Qualifications**
- Un baccalauréat en éducation, accompagné d’une expérience de l’enseignement dans le domaine des STIM, et (ou) des études supérieures dans le domaine de l’éducation seraient un atout
- Au moins cinq ans d’expérience dans le secteur de l’éducation de la maternelle à la fin du secondaire.
- Bilinguisme (français et anglais) fortement souhaité.
- Expérience avérée en offre de formation professionnelle à l’intention d’enseignants, en personne et (ou) en ligne.
- Perspectives des Premières Nations, des Métis ou des Inuits seraient un atout
- Bonne compréhension et bonne connaissance des différentes cultures autochtones de partout au Canada.
