This is an entry level position with training provided.
**Responsibilities**:
- Courteous and timely reception of visitors and telephone inquiries
- Work with Branch staff, as well as occasionally accounting personnel, to reconcile all open reports, including, but not limited to: ValveTek, GreatPlains, backorder review, inventory transfers, and purchase orders
- Perform data entry in Great Plains, Valve Tech, as well as enter customer orders and credits, inventory transfers, purchase orders, and inventory tracking
- Provide branch administrative support including managing office supplies, all administrative duties, and operate all office equipment
- Enter and complete PO’s, AFEs, vendor and customer files, act as a branch liaison with other departments as needed
- Maintain open communication will the sales team
- Liaise with the service group and shipping and receiving for status request
- Upsell and promote new products to current customers
- Maintain and expand prospect database
- Regular reporting of sales activities
**Requirements**:
- Exceptional communicator and customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills and ability to adjust to various personality types
- Proven attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
- Must have proven ability taking ownership of tasks
- Must be a team player who is willing to wear many hats and help when needed
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are an asset,
