Our team is passionate, professional, and fun to work with (if we do say so ourselves). We're looking for the newest friendly face to join our work family as our Receptionist Extraordinaire. This individual will manage reception duties and basic administrative tasks for all our group of companies: PPF Benefits & Retirement, Park Place Financial, Park Place Securities, Farm Life, Park Place Advisory and PPF Growth & People Solutions,
**What You'll Be Doing**: You’ll be the first point of contact, the voice on the phone, the smile at the front desk, the calm in the chaos. Your mission? Make sure our clients and guests feel welcomed, supported, and taken care of from the moment they reach out.
**Here’s a taste of what your day might include**:
- Greeting visitors with warmth, professionalism, and maybe a cup of coffee
- Answering phones and directing calls like a boss
- Managing incoming/outgoing mail and courier deliveries
- Ordering office supplies (you’ll be everyone’s hero when we’re out of pens)
- Keeping the reception area tidy, organized, and humming along
- Helping with small admin tasks that keep our team on track
- Data entry (CRM and Reporting Tools)
**Who You Are**:
- A natural people-person with strong communication skills
- Exceptionally organized, detail-obsessed, and able to juggle a few things at once
- Cool under pressure, even when the phones are ringing, and the coffee machine is on strike
- Tech-savvy enough to handle basic office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Proactive and helpful — you see what needs to be done and jump in
- Previous experience in a client-facing or administrative role is a bonus

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:
**Physical Effort**: Majority of time is spent in a comfortable position and most activities require a variety of easy muscle movements. Sustained keyboarding with a required ability to sit for extended periods of time
**Physical Environment**: Environment has only occasional exposure to mild unpleasant or disagreeable conditions with remote possibility of accident or health hazards. Regular travel for business and client meetings required.
**Sensory Attention**: Work activities involve need to concentrate for intermediate durations and close attention several times daily. Excellent reading comprehension of printed and electronic text required.
**Mental Stress**: Fast-paced work environment with occasional exposure to one or more mental pressures (e.g. deadlines, needs for accurate, potentially difficult clients or situations).
