**About the Role**: The primary responsibility of the Accounts Payable Clerk is to process and monitor company payments and expenditure and ensure finances are accurate by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Oversee the processing of vendor invoices and expense reports, including researching inquiries, providing guidance on coding, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Assist with coding a large volume of invoices.
- Maintain communication with external vendors and internal stakeholders regarding outstanding issues, invoices, inquiries, processes, etc.
- Enter data of payables and reconciliation of statements and year end rebates.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Identify and recommend ways to improve the overall Accounts Payable function within the organization.
- Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Ensure all intercompany invoices are entered in a timely manner.
- Any ad hoc duties as assigned

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in accounting or finance field.
- 3-5 years of experience working with Accounts Payable.
- Experience working with high volume invoice processing.
- Knowledge of national tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Outlook and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
