**About This Role**

The role of the Administrative Assistant is to oversee all activities of the God's Family Church office and provide a welcoming, positive, and confidential environment for all visitors during office hour. The Administrative Assistant also provides support for God's Family Church activities and oversight to support staff including volunteers. This position handles many aspects of behind-the-scenes communication, administration, and logístical duties to support the God's Family Church.

**Primary Responsibilities and Tasks of the Administrative Assistant**
- Perform office management tasks such as maintaining office supplies, files, etc.
- Provide administrative support to the Lead Pastor and other staff members and ministry leaders as needed.
- Coordinate and maintain the God's Family Church calendar to ensure events are well scheduled.
- Maintain accuracy on the God's Family Church website and ensure updates are regularly made.
- Maintain and update God's Family Church records (for attendance, membership, etc.) using the God's Family Church database software and provide weekly reports to the Lead Pastor.
- Strategically communicate key events and information to the God's Family Church by producing the weekly bulletin and other printed communication and managing registration for events.
- Pick up and distribute all mail.
- Answering, screening, and routing all phone calls to the appropriate staff member.
- Schedule, attend, and record minutes for board meetings.
- Coordinate staff meetings, lunches, etc.

**Your Team**

This position reports to the Lead Pastor. This position works closely with all God's Family Church office staff and oversees a small team of office volunteers.
