**Job description**

We are seeking 1 Part-Time Clinical Assistant to join our busy clinic in Cambridge. Our hours of operation are:
Mondays 8:00am-8:00pm
Tuesdays 8:00am-8:00pm
Wednesdays 8:00am-8:00pm
Thursdays 8:00am-8:00pm
Fridays 8:00am-2:00pm

**Shifts Required**:
Wednesdays 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Fridays 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

**Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Cleaning, sterilizing, and set up of the treatment rooms after each patient
- Sterilization of instruments using an Autoclave
- Performing regular maintenance on Podiatric equipment such as our Autoclave, Shockwave, Ultrasound, Laser, and Ultrasonic Machines
- Facilitating clinic work flow by bringing patients to rooms and communicating with Practitioners and other staff members
- Assisting with therapeutic treatments, such as Shockwave, Therapeutic Ultrasound and Laser
- Assisting practitioners with the dispensing of orthotics
- Measuring patients for compression stockings and footwear
- Assisting with the proper set up of rooms for routine and surgical procedures
- Performing and logging sterility tests
- Maintaining cleanliness of the clinic
- Ordering supplies and receiving incoming shipments
- Assisting with stretching demonstrations

**There may be times when administrative assistance is required**:

- Maintaining and updating patient records, scanning documents into patient files
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining practitioner schedules
- Greeting and signing in patients when they enter the clinic
- Managing billing to patients and their insurance companies
- Other duties as required

Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
