Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Clinic Administrator to oversee daily operations within our Physiotherapy Clinic facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative functions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of medical and dental office procedures. Prior experience in medical or dental office management is essential to succeed in this position.
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including patient scheduling, registration, and check-in/check-out processes.
- Oversee billing, coding, and insurance claims processing using systems such as Dentrix and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate human resources functions such as hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist with budgeting, inventory management, and procurement of supplies.
- Support clinical staff by coordinating appointments and managing patient flow efficiently.
- Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure smooth clinic operations across various departments including nursing, acute care, and hospital settings when applicable.
Experience
- Proven experience in dental or medical office administration, with familiarity using Dentrix or similar practice management software.
- Strong background in human resources management within a healthcare setting.
- Experience supervising administrative or clinical teams is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic medical records systems, and billing procedures.
- Previous work in hospital or acute care environments is advantageous.
- Background in budgeting, inventory control, and healthcare compliance is desirable.
- Prior nursing or healthcare experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory if the candidate demonstrates strong administrative capabilities.
