This position supports the WDM in achieving its public trust responsibilities through the delivery of comprehensive and dynamic curriculum-connected Education Programs for diverse student audiences. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and works closely with the rest of the Programs and Volunteers team to support the effective delivery of all Museum programming. This is an approximately 19-month term position to cover a maternity leave. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Become familiar with all aspects of the WDM Saskatoon. - Facilitate existing Education Programs, with an understanding of all activities and demonstrations associated with them. - Work with department staff to create, implement, update, and evaluate programs, ensuring curriculum connections and strong ties to Saskatchewan histories and WDM priorities. - Generate effective and creative ways to enhance visitation and engage the community. - Foster relationships with the Saskatoon education community that support the work of the Museum. - Train, schedule, and oversee staff and volunteers performing work pertaining to education programming. - Maintain accurate records for Education Program registrations. Manage bookings and products within the booking software. Prepare and submit reports on specific outcomes. - General office and other duties as assigned.
