**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:Guest Services & Support**
- Greet and assist guests with access to food, clothing, hygiene, and Hub services
- Build supportive, respectful relationships with guests using a trauma-informed approach
- Encourage guest engagement with housing and support services

**Safety, Security & Conflict Resolution**
- Monitor the facility and guests to ensure a safe, welcoming atmosphere
- Address conflict among guests and reinforce shelter expectations
- Promote de-escalation and peaceful conflict resolution practices

**Intake, Assessment & Referrals**
- Assist with intake by documenting guest information and immediate needs
- Conduct basic assessments and provide referrals to internal and external supports
- Collaborate with Case Management and shelter staff to address guest goals

**Medical Response Duties**
- Recognize and respond to medical emergencies such as overdoses, seizures, diabetic distress, and mental health crises
- Assess airway, breathing, and circulation (ABCs) and stabilize guests until EMS arrives
- Document care provided and contribute to emergency response planning

**Operations & Facility Support**
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and incidents in compliance with privacy policies
- Assist with cleaning and facility upkeep to ensure a safe, dignified space

**Requirements**:

- Experience or comfort working in high-stress, emergency response situations
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of homelessness, trauma-informed care, and social services is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
