**Job Description**:
What you will do
- Administers accounts payable policies by setting up supplier accounts and assisting users and suppliers.
- Monitors incoming invoices, reviews coding for accuracy, eliminates duplicates, ensures proper approvals, and matches purchase orders before data entry.
- Provides guidance to others regarding university policies, payable processes, and payment requirements.
- Supports collection efforts for overdue balances, and communicates with collection agencies.
- Identifies, generates, and updates management reports, including regular reporting on accounts receivable balances outstanding and account activity.
- Identifies opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness in accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Performs functional testing of any changes to financial systems with respect to voucher entry.
- Updates student records to reflect changes resulting from collection activities.
- Provides support in the preparation of year-end working paper files for the external auditors.
- Other duties as required in support of the department and/or unit.
Required Education
- Three-year Community College Diploma or Three-Year Bachelor Degree, or equivalent.
Required Experience
- More than 2 years and up to and including 3 years of experience.
Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Lead procedural or technological change within a unit.
- Identify new problems and seek information and input to fully understand the cause of problems.
- Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work processes.
- Draw logical conclusions and provides opinions and recommendations.
