To support us in that immediate growth, we are looking to hire a

**Recruitment**:

- Identify and coordinate recruitment needs of our Montreal office
- Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts and new hire guides
- Deliver new hire onboarding and orientation
- Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience (internal and external), increase hiring efficiency
- Support recruitment initiatives such as participation in university job fairs and other pro-active recruitment avenues
- Assist to obtain security clearance and background checks for all hires and contractors

**People Operations**:

- Create regular reports for various stakeholders and presentations on general HR data and activity to the HRBP (e.g., turnover rates)
- Prepare and maintain employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating by managing the organization’s HRIS
- Assist the accounting department by providing relevant employee information (e.g., leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules)
- Update and communicate company policies
- Liaise with external partners, such as insurance vendors for employee questions, and ensure legal compliance

**Employee Relations**:

- Administrative support and solutions on all people related matters including, but not limited to employee relations, performance issues, training and development
- Help answer any employee queries about HR-related issues
- Support HRBP in investigating all complaints by employees as necessary

**Culture**:

- Participate in HR projects (e.g., help organize team-building activities, job fair events, etc.)

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field
- Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role
- Hands-on experience with HR software, like HRIS (Hibob) and ATS (Lever), is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English and French (oral and written)
- Ability to work in a team, attention to detail
- Fosters a can-do attitude
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
