National Business Development, Security and Investigations - Full Time (Calgary, Alberta, Canada)

Role Summary:
This is an exciting time to join Xpera Risk Mitigation & Investigation. You will be part of the growth and development of this organization. With the strong reputation of the SCM Group of companies backing you, you will contribute to the success of Xpera's solid business plan.

As a National Account Manager, you will work within a team environment, demonstrating initiative, drive and business acumen to promote and develop new business and grow the existing customer base as per the regional plan.

You will develop annual sales plans to achieve regional objectives, spearhead and integrate Xpera's sales culture into the professional sales philosophies of SCM, carry out daily sales activities, provide sales forecasts and reports, identify and develop sales network for various product lines.

You will be accountable for a new and organic revenue growth. Leveraging your experience, you will build and maintain key relationships with existing and potential clients.

You will be a self-motivated go-getter who possesses enthusiasm, energy and influence.

Mobility is also necessary as travel is often required on a daily basis and may occur outside of regular business hours.

**Responsibilities**:
You will be accountable for the execution of the regional sales plan and achieving or exceeding the revenue objectives assigned while working within a team environment. You will be also responsible for the following:

- Sales and Client Interaction
- Establish and maintain key relationships with clients within the industry
- Identify, qualify and develop new accounts
- Conduct presentations and proposals to acquire potential clients
- Assist with and lead RFPs (when necessary)
- Negotiate and approve terms and conditions of new service contracts and negotiate existing contract renewal
- Manage targeted sales campaigns, when necessary
- Promote and develop new business and increase existing client base
- Support all marketing initiatives
- Manage and develop existing client base in the Property & Casualty Insurance, Employer, Life & Health, and Corporate sectors.

Qualifications & Experience:

- University degree in business administration (or related discipline, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in sales, including account management
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and proven negotiation skills
- Experience in tracking progress on sales activity using customer relationship management tool is an asset
