**Your day to day activities will include**:

- Trade futures by executing market trades, GTCs, and EFPs on live commodity markets
- Procure various classes of wheat to maintain a balanced position
- Manage commodity position and hedge futures, when necessary
- Balance daily future statements and report to Director of Procurement
- Maintain accurate records relating to grain contracts and purchase orders
- Promptly and accurately supply quotes and fills to Sales department
- Assist in planning of truck/vessel/rail shipments
- Ensure month end reporting is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Back up Director of Procurement
- Other duties as required to help the team
- 3+ years’ experience in a commodity role and a thorough understanding of basis & futures/commodity markets would be a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills
- Proven communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
