Jamesway Chick Master is looking for a Strategic Buyer that will have the opportunity for end-to-end strategic procurement sourcing activities from supplier selection to final decision making.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Key role in the end-to-end sourcing process within the selected commodity portfolio.
- Identify and evaluate Suppliers
- Procure technical equipment, components and material according to drawings and specifications
- Ability to negotiate frame contracts, supply agreements with favorable pricing, terms and conditions
- Capable of analyzing cost, TCO, market trends and supplier performance
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Ability to solve constraints and issues within supply chain
- Identify and develop dual and alternative sources for products and services
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
- Solid understanding of technical specifications and requirements for products/services being procured
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Quality in understanding technical specifications and requirements
- Ensure products and services procured meet technical specifications and quality requirements
- Assist operational procurement with selected commodities where required
- Strong verbal and written communications skills required for effective coordination with all stake holders

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement role in a manufacturing environment related to strategic sourcing.
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration required
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
