This role will provide leadership and coordination for all SASHA programs including the Compassionate Care Volunteer Program (CCVP), Compassion Bags, Connect Cafés, Harp Therapy, Grief Walks, Compass for the Caregiver, as well as other programming that may be added. The Coordinator will lead the recruitment, orientation and scheduling of volunteers for these programs. The role involves assessing and meeting the organization’s needs through the recruitment, training, placement and retention of volunteers as well as matching the skills, experiences and expectations of volunteers to available positions.

The Program Coordinator leads existing programs, initiates and recommends new programs to the Executive Director, and reports directly to the Executive Director.

This is a temporary, part-time position, working Monday to Friday, five hours per day (total 25 hours per week) over the contract term. Upon conclusion of the 12-month term, there is a possibility the position may be extended or become permanent.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and oversee SASHA’s volunteer-driven programs
- Provide compassionate support for SASHA clients in the community
- Engage and support volunteers to ensure effective program delivery
- Organize events and initiatives that align with SASHA’s mission
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance program reach

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Passion for supporting individuals and families facing end-of-life challenges
- Experience in program and volunteer management, including planning and execution, and community engagement
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while fostering teamwork

Pay: $42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
