This role plays a key role in shaping the strategy of the North American service organization, leading continuous improvement projects, overseeing team performance, and ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities**: **Strategic Leadership & Team Management** - Translate **Service Organization objectives** into actionable goals for the department and individual team members. - Develop and manage **budgets**, ensuring optimal **resource allocation** and **cost control**. - Foster strong collaboration with **global ENERCON service departments** to align strategies. - Provide **guidance and mentorship** to team leads, including the **Operational Support Lead, Technical Electrical Lead, and Technical Mechanical Lead**. - Cultivate a **high-performance culture**, encouraging **ownership, collaboration, proactivity, and engagement**. - Lead a multidisciplinary team, including **technical support, remote WEC monitoring, data analytics, compliance, major component replacement, rotor blade and concrete specialists, and travel technicians**. **Operational & Technical Management** - Ensure that **key processes** are clearly defined, documented, and well understood within the team. - Develop and track **performance indicators** aligned with business goals. - Identify and address **areas of improvement or non-compliance**, implementing corrective actions as needed. - Demonstrate **excellence in communication and presentation** to internal and external stakeholders. - Lead and support a team of **10+ technical specialists** across multiple regions in Canada, covering areas such as **technical support, engineering, medium voltage systems, data science, and analytics**. **Ideal Profile**: - Strong leadership, performance management, and decision-making skills. - Ability to drive continuous improvement and challenge underperformance. - Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams. - University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in technical support, engineering, or data science. - Experience in operational environments, particularly within the wind energy or similar heavy industrial sector. - 5+ years in a technical role, such as technical support, engineering, or data science. - Proven experience in project management and team leadership. - Bilingual in English and French (essential for effective communication). - Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and networking skills. - Knowledge of technical support tools and processes (SAP, P1D, Office, Aris). - Analytical, collaborative, and results-driven mindset with strategic agility. - Proficient in MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. - Valid driver's license and passport. - Availability to travel within Canada and Europe (estimated between 10 % - 15%). **Why Join ENERCON?**: As a Technical & Operational Support Manager you will join a **diverse and collaborative service team** that drives the company's growth and enhances operational efficiency across Canada.
