**We are looking for a dynamic Technical Support Director for the Production Team**
At PixMob, the Technical Support Director plays an essential role in the success of our immersive experiences. Reporting to the Vice-President of Production, you will lead and manage the technical support team, composed of lighting operators and programmers. Your mission is to supervise all technical aspects of our projects, from initial planning to on-site execution. You will ensure the fluidity of operations, adherence to budgets and timelines, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Administrative and Operational Management**
- Lead, train, and supervise members of the technical support team, including lighting operators and programmers.-
- Coordinate project schedules and budgets in conjunction with the technical team, in collaboration with the project office.- Establish and maintain effective communication with the operations, logistics, and sales departments to ensure successful project execution.- Manage technical requirements and communicate specific needs to relevant internal teams.
- Ensure operations support a healthy and safe environment.
**Technical Expertise and Planning**
- Oversee the planning and implementation of technical aspects of projects, including equipment setup, programming, and on-site troubleshooting.- Coordinate and review rigging plans to ensure safety and compliance.- Develop and implement technical procedures and plans to optimize operations.
- Implement a crisis management system to anticipate and quickly resolve technical issues.
**We are looking for someone who has this professional profile**:
- College diploma or equivalent.- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in managing remote technical teams and large-scale projects.- Strong technical knowledge of lighting systems, programming, and cutting-edge technologies.- Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to lead and motivate a team with positive and inspiring leadership.- Proven experience in the entertainment or event industry, with a strong ability to adapt and be agile.- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is essential for communicating with our international teams.
- Availability to travel.
