Technical Support Specialist

**Responsibilities**:
**Quality assurance**
- Write and transmit test reports and results to developers
- Support remote on-site integration of projects
- Support the final implementation of projects and provide training to clients
- Respond to any additional technical requests from the Technical Director
**Operations and support**
- Respond to clients’ requests for technical support (Freshdesk)
- Develop diagnosis, correct and/or support clients in resolving their issue
- Qualify incidents and escalate or reassign, if necessary, to the right people and/or departments
- Coordinate internal resources, partners and suppliers to implement solutions in a timely manner
- Follow up on tickets to ensure timely completion
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance visits
- Maintain the Freshdesk support ticket system and maintain the technical support team dashboard
- Maintain a history of issues and their solutions
- Participate in process optimization
**Qualifications and skills required**:
- Degree in computer science, networking or another relevant field
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position
- Knowledge in the operation of various components of a computer park, including:
- Networking
- Windows operating system
- Workstations (Windows/Mac), an asset
- Mobile devices (iOS/Android), an asset
- Experience in the use of support management tools (Freshdesk)
- Knowledge of video playback and projection systems (Watchout, Coolux)
- Knowledge of interactive systems (Unreal, Touch design, Unity), an asset
**Desired skills**:
- Organizational skills, team spirit and ability to cope with tight deadlines
- Initiative, resourcefulness and autonomy
- Rigour, consistency, discretion and diplomacy
- Ability to adapt to working on a variety of projects with constantly changing technologies
- Languages: French and English (bilingualism required spoken and written)
**Other considerations**:
- Permanent, full time (40 hrs/week)
- Starting date: immediate
- Salary according to experience
- Occasional travel required
