Key Account Manager

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Manage and grow the branded and private label portfolio within the pre-determined account(s). Achieve net sales and gross margin targets to meet company objectives. Focus on promotional activity, new listings, distribution gaps etc.
- Act as a liaison between the NAE and key contacts, providing support in resolving issues, managing requests and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the implementation of promotional plans, product launches and other selling initiatives to ensure timely execution and alignment with account objectives.
- Asist with the preparation of sales reports, performance reviews, and analyze data to provide insights in customer meetings and presentations.
- Work closely with CSR to monitor and track orders, ensuring smooth communication between our customer(s) and supply chain. Help manage inventory levels with best before dates and overstock.
- Help manage promotional budgets, track trade spend, review ROI reports and coordinate promotional activities across different customers to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, sales analysts, finance and logistics to ensure seamless execution of customer plans.
- Maintain detailed account of activities, pricing agreements, promotional calendars and other documentation to ensure clean and transparent communication.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary degree in business, sales, or marketing
- 2-4 years experience in account management, sales, or related roles (Grocery or CPG industry preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Team oriented with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills to evaluate sales performance and market data
- Customer centric with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to customers
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting software is an asset
- Must have a valid driver’s license
