**Job Description**:
POSITION: People and Culture - Administrator

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Perform administrative duties on the People & Culture team, working to ensure that all people within the company are cared for, compensated, and have the resources they need to perform in their position to the best of their abilities. Contribute towards the enrichment of Creation’s culture, engaging all employees within it.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

- Work with People and Culture to help support people and leadership teams
- First point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, workday support, vision admin.
- Coordinating new hires enrollment in payroll, Time clocks, Vision and various systems
- Ensuring new people have all required resources to do their job: lab coats, lockers, new hires information packages, computer and stationery
- Maintains accurate personnel files and ensuring confidentiality of information
- Tracks employment history, promotions, transfers, salaries, professional training, and development
- Prepares employment verification letters and job change letters
- Supports our health benefits administration, including claims resolution, annual enrolment, and other general inquiries
- Reports on: Safety, turnover, and other personnel data each month
- Participates in various People and Culture projects
- Participates in driving social and wellness activities
- Supporting the People & Culture Leader in communication: posting articles to the company’s intranet; and updating and maintaining P&C CCTV
- Maintains relationships with ongoing vendors and suppliers to support customer visits, events, and monthly culture initiatives
- Tracks and facilitates employee recognition initiatives including gifts, milestone anniversary recognition
- Provides support and coaching to leaders on employee engagement survey, result interpretation, and action planning
- Maintains and assists with employee inquiries that are sent through a general mailbox

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Canadian Citizen, or Permanent resident in order to be qualified as a designated officer of controlled goods
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources or Business Management
- 3+ years Human Resources or equivalent work experience in a similar role
- Possess the ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be professional with a positive attitude and outgoing personality
- Organized and self-motivated with the ability to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality are essential
- Possess the ability to quickly build and maintain rapport with others
- Computer proficiency including Windows, MS Office(Word, Excel, Power Point)

Working Environment Conditions

Physical Demands

The incumbent must be fit and possess sufficient strength to safely maneuver around archived materials up to 25lbs without injury to themselves or others

Mental Demands

The position involves an above average degree of attention and mínimal mental stress in an environment where interruptions may be ongoing.

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally clean; however, the incumbent may be exposed to occasionally dust. The incumbent is required to wear safety clothing and gears while working in safety sensitive areas. Otherwise, office/business casual attire is appropriate
