Looking to fill the position of Full Cycle Accounting Administrator for a retail and commercial lumber company; located in St. Catharines. We require a motivated individual that will take initiative in this fast-paced position which involves a lot of independent work.

Job Overview:

- Prepare and process all invoices and statements
- Update and maintain accounting journal entries, ledgers and other records detailing financial transactions
- Daily cash / POS till balance
- A/R payment posting and reconciliations
- A/P invoice matching, issue payments and reconciliations
- Customer and supplier account maintenance
- Conduct collection calls and credit checks
- Prepare weekly payroll, Monitor time and attendance for all employees (vacation, sick etc.)
- Administration for company benefits
- Process all government remittances and taxes such as SD, HST, EHT and WSIB
- Prepare month-end and year-end close process
- Maintain inventory pricing lists of products and materials

Qualifications:

- 5 + years of experience in full cycle bookkeeping/accounting
- Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
- Punctuality and reliability
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Spire Systems software is considered an asset
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of building supplies or construction is considered an asset

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
