We are a very busy full-scale Oakville restaurant featured on the Food Network specializing in pizza with burgers, salads, craft beer, and wine. We are hiring for many positions in both front and back of the house.

We are looking for someone who is:

We like to joke around and laugh a lot. It's important to us to have fun while we work because laughter makes everything better and we would like someone who feels the same.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
- Taking inventory to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
- Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate, and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
- Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Developing new cocktail recipes.
- Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
- Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
- Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
- Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.

**Requirements**:

- Smart Serve or previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Meets legal age to pour/serve alcohol.

Shifts will be 2-5 evenings/afternoons a week.

We are currently closed on Mondays but need people available in the evenings on the other days. Since we leave late, between 10:00 - 11:00 pm, we would prefer someone who doesn't have to travel too far for their safety when they're tired.

We also require people who are available for the day shift to serve lunches.
