They are leaders in promoting our artists in the community. Our Vision is 'Make art. Be well.'

**Responsibilities**:
Attend, & prepare for, monthly board meetings.
Serve as knowledge centre in the area(s) of**:fundraising, grant writing, website development, or social media.**

Serve on a task force or committee.
Support of special events and promote MAC in the community

**Essential Skills or Knowledge**

Ability to work as part of a team, active volunteer

Planning Ability, Ability to Analyze and Take Risks

Knowledge of Board Governance, Connected in Community

**Other Requirements**:
Criminal record check

Two references.

Ability to attend in-person Board meetings in Burnaby BC. (Most meetings are held virtually.)

**Time Commitment**:8 hours per month for 2 or 3 years for Board responsibilities. Additional time may be required for other volunteer roles taken on during term.

**Evaluation**:Self and by the Board, annually.
